The Weeknd - whose real name is Abel Tesfaye - is returning to Ireland to play his biggest gig to date

The Weeknd has announced he will play at Croke Park alongside rapper Playboi Carti next summer. 

The Canadian pop and R & B singer will bring his After Hours Till Dawn stadium tour to Dublin on August 15, 2025. 

Irish concert goers can sign up for presale access tickets at The Weeknd’s website. The presale begins on Tuesday, September 9 at 11 pm.  

General access concert tickets go on sale next Friday, September 12 at 12 pm.

The Weeknd last played in Ireland at Marlay Park, July 2023. 

The singer released his latest album Hurry Up Tomorrow in January. 

The Weeknd - who has also acted in the HBO series The Idol - is most famous for the hits Blinding Lights, Star Boy and I Can’t Feel My Face. 

Across the span of his career, The Weeknd has won four Grammy Awards, a Latin Grammy award, and nominations for Academy awards. 

The artist also performed as a headliner at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2021.

The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour originally launched in 2022 and has become the biggest R & B tour in history.

Rapper Playboi Carti has amassed 31 billion streams across platforms to date.
