As part of the investigation into the Dublin riots last November, over 17,000 hours of CCTV footage has been analysed by An Garda Síochána.

The "large scale public disorder incident" occurred throughout the evening of November 23 across a widespread area in Dublin north and south inner city.

28 vehicles were damaged or destroyed, including one Luas and three Dublin Buses destroyed by fire, six Dublin Buses, 15 official garda vehicles and two Dublin Fire Brigade vehicles subject to criminal damage, plus one private car destroyed by fire, while 66 places of business were subject to criminal damage and 13 gardaí were injured.

Over 100 ‘Persons of Interest’ have now been identified as a result of the analysis and gardaí are now requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying each ‘Persons of Interest’’ to either rule these ‘Persons of Interest’ ‘in or out’ of the investigative process.
