Temperatures soar for Ladies Day as Punchestown Festival continues in Kildare

It’s Ladies Day at the Punchestown Festival in Kildare this Friday, with the overall 2025 winner of the Bollinger Best Dressed to be announced at 5pm.

The winner from each of the first three days, Genieve Ryan from Roscommon, Oniesa Owens from Longford and Maria Osbourne from Kildare have been fast tracked into the final today.

The Bollinger Style Council of no less than eight professionals from the fashion industry led by Head Judge Jess Colivet will select an addition five from the crowd and the overall winner will be announced at 5pm.

The Bollinger Style Council includes; Stylist Jess Colivet, Designer Aoife McNamara, Sustainability Stylist Roxanne Parker, Digital Creator David O’Connor, Stylist Lawson Mpame, AYU’s Suzi O’Neill, Stylist Isabel Gleeson, former Bollinger Best Dressed winner Kate Nally McCormack and the fashion MC is Marietta Doran.

The overall winner and guest win a 'money can't buy' trip of a lifetime to the home of Bollinger. This is not a cliche, you literally cannot buy this prize as it is invitation only.

The competition off track is sure to be every bit as exciting as the action on the course on Boodles Champion Hurdle Day at the County Kildare venue. The first race is off at 3.40pm and the feature will go to post at 6.40pm with the party after racing expected to go on until late!

Tuesday (DAY 1)

Finalists: Raymond Gilbourne, Lisa Walsh, Genevieve Ryan, Louise Corrigan & Tristan Conway Behan (couple selection) and Breda Butler

Winner: Genevieve Ryan (Roscommon)

Winner’s Outfit details: Coosy skirt (recent purchase), shirt bought 3 years ago from MacBees in Killarney and she changed the buttons on it to give it a refresh, her hat was homemade with love as she added the ribbon from her 3 year old daughter’s teddy bear to bring her luck, her bag and shoes were Depop purchases, the shoes Jimmy Choo were a steal at €180 and the bag is the Cloud Bag by Aoife Mullane. Her rings were Chupi and earrings Faizie Maizie.

Wednesday (DAY 2)

Finalists: Gillian and Raymond Gilbourne (couple selection), Davinia Knight, Oniesa Owens and Steve Bennett

Winner: Oniesa Owens (Longford)

Winner’s Outfit details: Trousers were part of a two piece suit by Roisin Linanne which she purchased a few years ago, h er Rotate jacket was from Fabiani Boutique, her hat a Wendy Louise design and bag Chanel.

Thursday (DAY 3)

Bollinger Style Council: Jess Colivet and Aoife McNamara

Finalists: Nadine King, Kevin Old, Maria Osbourne, Aurelija Kupryte and Dee Ahearn

Winner: Maria Osbourne (Kildare)

Winner’s Outfit details: A mellow yellow two-piece suit by Irish designer Aoife McNamara that she recently purchased at the Kildare Village Easter pop up shop.  Her hat a Marc Millinery rental from Hats Amore in Newbridge was teamed with an old Zara bag she had at home, Chanel sunglasses borrowed from her sister and preloved Jimmy Choos that she purchased on Vinted.
