RIVERFEST LIMERICK 2024 - RECOMMENDATIONS AT A GLANCE

Ahoy there to Ireland’s favourite summer festival, Riverfest Limerick 2024! Sporting a brand-new look for its 20th Anniversary, the festival is back with a splash this May Bank Holiday weekend (May 3 to 6).

Catch the current of fun with a whole raft of on-the-water and waterside events, in Limerick city centre. With so much on offer during the festival, we’ve rounded up some of the must-see events and not to be missed activities!

Pégase Parade

Kick start the bank holiday weekend, as a giant winged Pegasus leaps straight out of Greek Mythology and struts its stuff along the banks of the River Shannon and through the city for the Pégase show, a carnival-style parade that is not to be missed!

Riverfestival Village

The Riverfestival Village in Arthur’s Quay Park will be a hive of activity throughout the weekend, with a fabulous range of crafts, delicious artisan food stalls, vintage amusements, and of course live music. A real treat for all the family!

Riverfest Spectacular Fireworks Display

Limerick’s skyline will be transformed with an explosion of fantastic colour on Sunday night with the fabulous fireworks extravaganza! Guaranteed to be a fitting finale to Sunday’s festivities!

Strike a pose

Limerick’s renowned Holman-Lee Agency, hosts Fashionfest at an exciting new location, Gardens International on Henry Street.  The show includes the best of Limerick’s boutiques, designers and a new addition for 2024, creations from some of the talented fashion students at LSAD.
