Comedian and presenter Eric Roberts has revealed he hasn't had much luck on day one of Punchestown.
However, the Donegal man's spirits haven't dampened despite his lack of winnings.
Roberts, who previously placed two bets on Jack Kennedy, remains optimistic and is game for placing another bet.
However, his strategy may raise eyebrows.
He told Iconic Media's Jasmin Griffin: "I'm not a big horse racing man so whoever's wearing the shiniest jacket I'll throw a tenner on."
Roberts - who has been nominated for Best Dressed at the event - explained he was kitted out in a Shelby suit from a Letterkenny-based fashion retailer.
He said, "I'm having a fantastic day, the betting's not going in my favour but I'm still having a good time.
"It's a suit from Evolve in Letterkenny so I'm staying in Donegal for the dress-up. It's the Shelby suit, the lads always look after me up there."
