WATCH: Shark Hanlon to the rescue as man's belt breaks at Punchestown 2024

One racegoer was spared any embarrassment after breaking his belt at Punchestown on Tuesday thanks to top trainer Shark Hanlon

One racegoer at Punchestown was spared any embarrassment thanks to the quick-thinking of horse racing trainer Shark Hanlon.

Stephen Kennedy from Goresbridge, Co Kilkenny told Punchestown Live that he broke his belt after "a big breakfast" and after a failed trip to the shopping village to find a new one, fellow Goresbridge man Shark Hanlon saved the day.

Stephen told us that he spotted Shark at the track and said "there's the man." He asked for help and sure enough the Shark returned with a length of baling twine.
